Practice Description

HealthEast is seeking a Family Medicine physician, with or without OB, to join one of our largest multi-specialty clinics located in Woodbury, MN.  HealthEast Clinic Woodbury, located on the Woodwinds Health Campus offers care for the entire family in one convenient location.  The clinic's primary care group consists of 3 Family Medicine physicians (2 providers that do Obstetrics), 4 Certified Nurse Practitioners, 4 Internal Medicine physicians, 1 Internal Medicine/Pediatrics physician, 4 Pediatricians and 7 Certified Nurse Midwives.  Other specialties available on site include allergy & asthma, audiology, diabetic education, endocrinology, ENT, medication therapy management, osteoporosis care, rheumatology, podiatry and sports medicine.  Also available on campus is the experienced heart care team to the Woodwinds' Ways to Wellness program and Natural Care Center, featuring acupuncture, chiropractic care, and more. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Family medicine with obstetrics includes a full scope practice with IP/OP mix.  Call is shared with other HealthEast physicians.  Patients are admited to Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, MN
  • Family medicine without obstetrics is a 100% outpatient clinic opportunity. Phone Call only is shared with physicians from the Tamarack Clinic located in Woodbury
  • Patient encounters average between 18 - 22 patients per day 
  • Full time or Part time opportunity
  • 32 patient contact hours per week
  • A fully integrated electronic medical record (Epic) is utilized
  • Clinic hours are 7:30am-5pm, Monday - Friday

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes a sign on bonus, CME, relocation allowance and malpractice insurance with tail coverage provided.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be BE/BC Internal Medicine
  • Ability to obtain MN license and DEA
